Questions

How can I tell if a sign is real?

Real ones show honest wear: chips around the mounting holes and fading where the sun hit. Bright, perfect signs with printed-on rust are usually reproductions.

Are Canadian signs collected?

Very much. Canadian versions of soda, gas and tobacco signs are often harder to find than the American ones, and collectors look for them.
